The CC Congregational Meeting is set for this Sunday, August 1st, 2:00pm. Finances and plans for
both college and children's
ministries and our upcoming fall retreat
will be discussed. Also, we will hear a report on the Philly Mission. Members, please commit to attending!

Pray for Pastor James Park
Pastor James is coming to rejoin our church's staff, as FKPC Education
Pastor/CC Assistant Pastor, as of July 1st. Please pray for his
transition and new ministry here.
Love 146
We are preparing to raise awareness and money for Love146, which
partners with churches and others to end global sexual slavery and
trafficking. The
plan is to run for donations in this year's Hartford Marathon
(marathon, half-marathon, and 5k runs are all options). Talk to Salli
Shon for more info!

Small Groups Launching
Small groups have started, with a study on Ephesians: Building a Community in Christ. Locations include homes in Newington, South Windsor, West Hartford, and Trumbull. We urge you to seek to deepen your relationship with God and his church by joining a small group in your area. These are open to all age groups. Contact Pastor Mike for more info.
College Campus Ride Ministry
Students from UConn, Wesleyan, and Trinity are in need of rides to church and back to their respective campuses every Sunday. If you have a willing heart to serve and a valid driver's license, please contact Dan So to sign up to pick up or drop off these transportation-challenged students, even if it's just once this semester. The church van will be provided whenever possible.
